Preschool (Ages 3-5) - Nicholasville, KY

During these formative years our teachers introduce your active and enthusiastic learner to more structured learning opportunities. One of the best ways we can help your child succeed is to teach them to be creative and confident thinkers. Our approach to your preschooler’s development reflects that belief through hands-on exploration and discovery, which helps build critical thinking skills, creativity and confidence. We tap into your child’s natural curiosity of their environment through hands-on, project-based investigations of everyday topics. Children work on learning letters and letter sounds, name recognition, as well as letter and number recognition. They will experience large group, small group and individualize time. Upon graduating our preschool program, your child will feel confident and prepared to enter Kindergarten.

Classrooms are set up into the 7 learning centers across all ages. Each center plays a major role in the child’s development. In blocks, children work on their hand/eye coordination while building blocks. In dramatic play, they are learning about pretend play which develops practical life skills. In math and science, they are developing problem solving skills, as well as cause and effect. Each learning center is designed to constantly provide an active and engaging environment, work on social and emotional development, help label emotions, and offer guidance on helping to cope with those emotions.

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool

One of the best ways we can help your child succeed is to teach them to be creative and confident thinkers. Our approach to your preschooler’s development reflects that belief through hands-on exploration and discovery, that helps build critical thinking skills, creativity and confidence. We tap into your child’s natural curiosity of their environment though hands-on, project-based investigations of everyday topics. This study approach allows your child to gain a deeper understanding of the topic by asking questions and discovering answers through exploration.
